Plant Care :
Light: Full sun exposure, aim for at least 6-8 hours of bright sunlight daily. Grown inside a greenhouse with all day filtered light is ideal. If natural light is limited, consider using a grow lamp. Gradually introduce the plant to increased light levels to prevent sunburn.
Water: Water thoroughly during the growing season (spring and summer), allowing the soil to dry out completely between waterings, 1-2 weeks in between waterings is ideal in hot/arid environments. Reduce watering in the winter months (once every 4-6 weeks) to mimic its natural dormancy period.
Soil: A cactus or succulent potting mix is ideal, providing excellent drainage.
Temperature: It thrives in temperatures between 65-85°F. It can tolerate temperatures as low as 50°F and as high as 100°F for brief periods. Protect your plant from frost and temperatures below 40°F. Can tolerate short periods of frost, but not in combination with moisture - protect from rain/elements in the winter.
